Change the World!
Can you be a world-changer?
You are probably familiar with the hackneyed, but true, expression: If you want to change the world, first change yourself.
The statement implies that something is wanting in the affairs of humankind. The underlying assumption is that the world needs changing. But, it begs the question: Change from what to what? And can one person make a global redemptive difference? Where and how do each one of us fit into the “world changers” paradigm? Has the hypothesis any moral, historic, or religio-philosophic validity?
Nobody but those who are rotting in their tombs can deny that humanity is dancing hazardously on the threshold of self-destruction.
Warmongers and whoremongers seem to govern the world.
Politicians waddle and wade chin-deep in a moral morass of their own making, pig-happy in the swamp that pays them handsomely.
Medicine and the health industry appear captured by lying doctors [Scientists, you know!] and rapaciously greedy corporate executives and their malicious minions who exterminate millions to accomplish the will of their mysterious masters.
The global economy, fettered to corrupt politics, and teetering on the precipice of disaster, is set to implode soon.
Education has taken a dark and sinister turn, converting children into confused bundles of hysterical and immoral monsters.
Science and technology are still subject to the Nimrodian philosophy – conceive, create, and conquer -- dream, determine, design, develop, and destroy.
Social DIS-order manifests the abhorrent descent into sloth, slovenliness, and smuttiness.
Civilization is speeding uncontrollably towards a turbulent and uninhibited savagery.
News media, literature, entertainment, and podcasts manifest an inner soul sleaze, a mouldy mental state, and the putrefied values of a society hell-bent on the inferno of hades.
TRUE is the saying: “The whole world lies in wickedness” [1 Jn 5:19].
What about religion? Will it … can it … save the world? Is there any religion that can act as a transforming, civilization-saving force? If so, what would be the required moral, spiritual, economic, mental, and physical investment to achieve this objective? What price would any world-changing religion, society, or person, have to commit to such a halcyon vision? How many need to commit to achieve such an aspiration? Who would lead such a daringly grandiose endeavour? By what means will it be accomplished? What resources and financial commitment would be required? How would it be attained?
In short, the question is: Can humanity – by any means whatever – change the world to SAVE THE WORLD?
Some delusional religious souls think so. Others are preparing to leave this world for Mars! A foolish notion and an utterly wasteful engagement. [Talk about a DOGE INVESTIGATION!] Scripture says God made all the planets and the universe, but He placed man on the EARTH, nowhere else – not even Mars! [Is 45:12.] [See the article: Trump and Musk’s Martian Mission.]
Every religion believes it has the know-how, the spiritual wisdom, and the knowledge to change the world TO SAVE THE WORLD from itself. The illusion continues, both among Christians and their spiritual antecedents, the Jews. However, both belief systems—as practiced by the majority—are defective and deceptive.
The words of the Bible may inspire millions, but inspiring words mean nothing. Only the praxis – actions based on those inspired words – will transform the world! Neither Christians nor Jews can achieve it because neither respond faithfully to the Word they profess to be God's Word!
Jews believe in salvation by law. Christians believe in salvation without law. One rejects Messiah, the other rejects Moses.
Before the world can become peaceful and prosperous, delivered from wickedness, and living in salvific righteousness, a certain contingent of people—whom the Bible identifies as the “elect”, the "first fruits"—must first engage in totally transformative action, or behavior—repent, overcome, and grow in grace and knowledge.
Repentance means to change from bad to good; from wickedness to righteousness; from lawlessness to lawfulness.
Repentance is the cry of the prophets and apostles of God from time immemorial. From Moses to Malachi, from John the Baptiser to John the Revelator!
Fallen mankind brought destruction to the earth and its environment. Fallen man is bringing destruction to its own species. Fallen man is causing creation to crumble. Fallen man is causing suffering, subjecting the cosmos to calamity common to himself. Fallen man is causing the universe to groan and grumble [Romans 8:22]. Yet, some aspire to literally export the groaning to Mars! [See our article on Trump and Musk’s Martian Mirage.]
The fallen creature and creation need restoration.
The restoration -- the change -- of the creature and the creation comes through Christ and conversion; through the Redeemer and Redemption. [Redemption is being bought by and brought to Christ.]
Repentance and Redemption are subject to a process requiring time which finally culminates in redemptive action—action based upon the law of God. That equates to holy action, or holy living—law-based living. Only such law-based living reflects Christlike character – the kind of character that will produce permanent peace and prosperity within human polity.
Societal peace, stability, orderliness, organizational progress, and prosperity are law-based. Lawlessness results in chaos, confusion, anarchy, turmoil, unruliness, disorder, and hatefulness toward God and his holy laws. In essence, it is living a satanic life, even though shrouded in an appearance of holiness – just like Satan! [2 Cor 11:14.]

Notice the direct relationship between man’s obedience to the law of God and the resultant benefits:
Joshua 1:7 “Only be strong and very courageous, that you may observe to do [obey, act] according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded you: turn not from it to the right hand or the left, that you may prosper whithersoever you go.”
“Great peace have they which love thy law …” [Psalm 119:165]. And “keep the charge of Yehovah your Elohim, to walk in his way, to keep his statutes, and his commandments, and his judgments, and his testimonies, as it is written in the law of Moses, that you may prosper in all that you do [in all your actions], and whithersoever you turn yourself” [1 Kings 2:3].
Obedience to God’s laws result in Peace and Prosperity!
Law-based action is transformative action. Global transformative action—that is, law-based behaviour—enforced by Christ and his caring co-rulers (those "first fruits") will eventually transform the world. Why? Because…
“The law of Yehovah is perfect, converting the soul” [Psalm 19:7].
Conversion of the soul—the change, the repentance—comes only through the indwelling of Christ, the Word, which equates to the Law of the spirit of obedience [1 John 2:14; Gal 2:20].
The law per se cannot convert the soul. The law is as a mirror, it reflects our spiritual status [James 1:23]. It shows us where we err and thus what we need to change—it shows us of what to repent— what life habits and actions we need to eliminate and what new ones to inculcate.
James 1:25 “… whoso looks into the perfect law of liberty [the mirror, verse 23], and continues therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed [actions].”
The law, Paul says, is “holy, just, and good” [Romans 7:12]. Nobody can be changed, converted, or transformed without the law becoming lodged within their spirit [Jer 31:33]. But this can only happen by accepting Christ and being empowered by the gift of the Holy Spirit thereby living in Christ, and vice versa.
It is to be clearly understood that nobody can become the “new creature” by keeping the law! The keeping of the law is an outflow of sorrow over sin and repentance of that sin. The change comes due to Christ living in us “the hope of glory” [Col 1:27, 2 Cor 5:17]. It is not the external practice of law which is the hope of glory. The Pharisees were meticulous law-keepers who “outwardly appear righteous” but were nonetheless condemned by Christ because they kept not the spirit—the intent—of the law. While not committing adultery, literally, they sexually lusted, breaking the spiritual intent of the seventh commandment. While not stealing they coveted other people’s wealth. They “devoured widows’ houses” [steal from helpless widows!] and then in a pretence of righteousness made long public prayers to cover their wickedness. [See Matthew 23:14, Mark 12:40, and Luke 20:47.]
The spirit of God implants the essence and intent of the law within our inner being. The spirit serves as the mind-opening, motivating force.
John 6:63 “It is the Spirit that makes [spiritually] alive, the flesh [intellect, fleshly obedience, self-improvement, humanism, originating in human nature] profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit and are life.”
It is God the Father who develops his righteous spiritual character in man [Phil 2:13], not man who self-generates obedience to God, which will change man and the world.
“I will put My law in their minds and inscribe it on their hearts. And I will be their God, and they will be My people” [Jeremiah 31:33b, Berean Study Bible].
Christ living in us generates, through the holy spirit, the desire and drive to live in letter and in spirit, within the spiritual laws of God. This is the only way human nature can change--from the spirit of God lodged inside man. That secures the basis of true and lasting individual change. This change will ultimately permeate all of humanity.
This change requires a process starting with the conviction to repent, taking the necessary action – changing one’s lifestyle from disobedience to obedience – to, in faith, march on to conversion and spiritual victory. That is living an overcoming victorious lifestyle in Christ.
This is transformative behaviour, repentant behaviour, that will change the world. As the scripture states:
Micah 4:3 “And he [Christ] shall judge among many people…” [Judgement is based upon the law of God. If there be no law there can be no judgment]. “…and [he shall] rebuke strong nations afar off [inter alia, China, Korea, Russia, America, Mexico, Argentina, Brazil]; and they shall beat their swords into ploughshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: …” [instead of armaments, agricultural implements will be manufactured]. “… nation shall not lift up a sword against nation, neither shall they learn war anymore.” [The military-industrial complex which wastes and steals billions of dollars from their people, will be forcefully shut down. There will be an effective Christ-directed DOGE department!!]
Such a wholesale transformation will occur only after the second coming of Christ. Because not until then will the full contingent of God’s proteges—his first fruits—be ready to undertake their divine assignment to rule over the nations.
True and lasting change—true conversion—demands courage, ACTION, and the determination to persist in the changed behaviour, from law-breaker to law-keeper.
True and lasting repentance—a genuine change of behaviour—demands spiritual conviction, that is, the intense desire to change a negative, sinful, self-destructive lifestyle into a positive, righteous, constructive lifestyle.
Such conviction—a firm belief, or faith—will generate courage; a courage that converts conviction into action. Action produces results—material and spiritual. The positive results inspire and encourage, and in turn, strengthen the original conviction. This engenders compounded courage. Such conviction and courage produce even greater conviction, or faith, to continue with spirit-inspired law-based action to change behaviour, and develop a repenting, changing, overcoming lifestyle.
Each person who successfully engages in this process from repentance to being an overcomer, becomes a positive change agent. It brings light to this darkened and demented, confused and chaotic world. It fulfills Christ’s command in Matthew 5:16, “Let your light [positive, obedient, law-keeping character] so shine [manifest] before men, that they may see your good works, [changed behaviour] and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”
Eventually, the changed people—the “changers”—will contribute to the transformation of the world!
This will only be achieved at Christ’s return. A select group of people will be prepared as examples, leaders, guides, mentors, and love-motivated rulers to a frail and failing humanity. At Christ’s coming the “changers” will be changed into ruling spirit beings because they were willing to be changed. Changed in spirit, mind, belief system, and actions. They responded to the Holy Spirit and Word-induced conviction [John 6:44, 63, 65]. They acted courageously. They allowed the indwelling holy spirit to change their character from bad to good; from sinfulness to righteousness; from lawlessness to lawfulness.
The TRUE NEW WORLD ORDER will be spearheaded by individuals who change today to change tomorrow! They will assist Christ in creating a morally powerful, holy, wholesome, happy, prosperous, and peaceful eternity for humanity.
This divine truth is embedded in the nineteen-hundred-year-old revelation that an advanced corps [the biblical “first fruits”] of truly repentant, law-loving, courageous, conscience-driven persons, decided to convert their spiritual conviction into OBEDIENT ACTION!
These converted law-abiding people who overcome evil, who ACTED positively on their God-given CONVICTION, will live eternally; they will be given new names [royal names as part of the spiritual God-family]; they will be given thrones with governing powers to rule over all nations.
This glorious future awaiting all the overcomers who will ACT on behalf of God as His dynamic spiritual emissaries, His holy sons in His eternal kingdom, is detailed in the following scriptures:
1 John 2:14 “I have written unto you … because you are strong, and the word [the logos, the Christ, the Messiah] of God abides in you, and you have overcome the wicked one [wickedness, lawlessness].
Rev 2:7 …To him that overcomes will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.
Rev 2:11 … He that overcomes shall not be hurt of the second death.
Rev 2:17 … To him that overcomes will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name …
Rev 2:26 And he that overcomes, and keeps my works [i.e., deeds, actions, laws] unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations.
Rev 3:21 To him that overcomes will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.
Rev 21:7 He that overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.
Have you ever contemplated the awesomeness of being an ever-living, ruler-son of the living God?
Have you ever deeply meditated on the concept that you can be exactly like Christ in his glorified form? [1 John 3:2.] Have you seen yourself rendering judgment over the nations whilst sitting next to Christ upon His throne? Have you considered how you can teach, guide, lead, and rule people to CHANGE THE WORLD into a loving, serving, healthy, prosperous place? Have you seen yourself in the presence of Abraham, David, Isaiah, Moses, the Apostles, the 120 of Pentecost, and the many great heroes of the Bible?
Have you seen yourself with Christ, Saviour of the world, with the 24 elders, the cherubim, and the seraphim, glorifying the Eternal God, the Father of all spirits?
This awesome wonderment is too astonishing a truth to fully envision. Yet, ask yourself: Do I want to be a changer who wants to change the world?
