The Collapse of the U.S. and World Economy
The news-media is brim-full of reports, analyses, grim truths, and WARNINGS of a soon-to-implode world economy. Pundits predict that the United States, and by extension, the world, is facing an “economic bloodbath.”
The coming crisis is described by one analyst as “The Great Devastation of 2021”.
The artificially created coronavirus crisis, forcing STRINGENT economic impositions UPON SOCIETY has laid the groundwork for an economic disaster such as has never been experienced in the history of mankind!
Bankruptcies have reached unparalleled levels. Over 100,000 small businesses – the backbone of the American economy - have already vanished from the economic prairie.
An estimated 46 million economically active people have become unemployed. April 2020 alone, saw 20.5 million job losses! Joblessness in the U.S. has reached 34%. That equates to job losses of over one third of the economically active population. In effect it may accrue to one third of the economy being wiped out!
According to one U.N. report, 1.6 BILLION employed people could lose their livelihood, worldwide. That’s about half the global workforce. Mortgages, credit cards, car payments, student loans – all credit advances – could be recalled. Property seizures will skyrocket. As people fail to pay their debts financial institutions are going to crumble. The Federal Reserve declared that banks would, conservatively, face $700 billion in loan losses.
State and local government tax revenues are stretched to the limits. As people fail to earn, so bank loans and payments of services to government will fail on a massive scale. Bankruptcies will follow and essential government services will cease. Roads will steadily crumble into potholed nightmares. Power supplies will be limited, or totally cut. Water will become scarce, putrid, or unavailable. Sewage systems will become blocked and overflowing into the streets. As drought and famine strike the nations, civil unrest, followed by internal wars, murder, mayhem, and daylight robberies of shops, malls, and all food stocks. Gang violence and vigilante expeditions will rule the suburbs. The police having been defunded created a fantastically lucrative business opportunity for private security companies. Several countries in Asia, the MIddle-East, South America and Africa already experience all this, and more.
I have personally observed the effect of the lack of services in Mozambique “after” their civil war. [The war is still ongoing at a low level in certain areas.] As the economy became stagnant city services stopped. Suburbs were wrecked and abandoned. Streets were potholed and remain unrepaired. Garbage was piled almost two storeys high around a Lorenzo Marques township, serving as the breeding ground for rats, disease, and infectious pestilence. People sought refuge in the bush.
This was the aftermath of a civil war. America is not yet engaged in a full scale civil war, but “Mene, mene tekel upharsin” is being imprinted all over its social media.
To repeat, as America's economy crashes cities will be unable to supply funding for, inter alia, the police and fire departments. As rioting, looting, uncontrollable chaos, and burning continues – and it will! – so these essential services will become ineffective as the means to save and salvage the cities and protect its citizens due to the lack of public funds, normally extracted from tax payers. Countries are being squeezed ripe for civil war. The ghastly spectre of the Mozambican disaster, the current Ukranian decimation, Viet Nam, Iraq, Lebanon, etc. looms darkly, threateningly, ominously over the American horizon. Consider this:
“In the first three months of the [Corona-]crisis alone, Washington [spent almost] as much money as it cost America to fight the Revolutionary War... the Civil War... and BOTH World Wars... combined.”
Due to the economic shutdown there’s a KNOCK-ON EFFECT FROM ONE INDUSTRY TO THE NEXT. The industrial, economic, and financial dominoes are collapsing at an unstoppable rate in irreparable dimensions.
Mounting defaults, forced evictions and cumulative bankruptcies – not counting the healthcare cost of potential twindemics [a double disease epidemic striking at the same time!], socio-economic pressures from illegal immigration, international conflicts and wars, and increased natural disasters -- will soon devastate the United States.
Consider the disastrous impact the following economic sectors experienced within the World's Economic Colosseum, slashing mercilessly into the U.S and world economy:
1. Global air traffic fell by 90%.
2. Retail sales dropped about 90% from 2019. Major shopping chains could vanish, never to return.
3. Restaurants retrenched about 50% of their employees.
4. Hotel incomes plunged 90%.
5. The tourism industry is shattered.
6. Museums turned into hollow, echoing relics.
7. Hollywood’s industry has descended into fiscal hell [where it belongs!], thought never to fully recover.
8. The NFL and NBA stand at $5 billion losses.
9. Institutions of learning face financial ruin.
10. Gyms are being pushed into bankruptcy.
11. Churches will be forced to close their doors and be liquidated as parishioners are jobless, money-less, hopeless, and unable to prop up church facilities and pastorates. Over 20 U.S. church districts have already sought bankruptcy protection.
12. Banks are teetering on total disintegration as they face $700 billion in loan losses.
As companies and corporations are increasingly going bust, unable to pay their debts and unable to borrow from equally near-insolvent banks, cities and states will go bankrupt steering towards Governmental collapse.
Consider this fearsome reality: It took over two centuries [1776-1981] for the U.S. to reach $1 trillion in debt. But between April and June this year the government took on $1 trillion in debt per month!
Governments will prop up failing and falling economies by printing fiat money. A predicted 35% drop in the dollar will follow suit at “warp speed”, according to Yale economist Stephen Roach.
Unimaginable inflation will follow in the wake of the disaster. There’s a threatening foreshadow of the Weimar Republic and crumpled and crinkled Zimbabwean billions to secure a loaf of bread [Rev 6:5-6]. But only a few will be able to afford the wheelbarrow in which to carry the cash!
As currency and economy crash, social structures and city infrastructures are sure to collapse with it, as will law and order.
The World Health Organization is warning against a NEW round of international lockdowns and vaccines will NOT stop the viral devastation. Why not? Congress was warned by a senior Department of Health doctor: “Normally, it takes up to 10 years to make a vaccine.” He added: “There’s no one company that can produce enough for our country... It’s going to be limited supplies.”
These economic, health and disaster crises will lead to the inevitable fulfillment of VERY SPECIFIC biblical prophecies about the world economy and the state of the end-time human crisis.
The final punishment of the nations will culminate in what the prophets call “the day of the Lord [Yehovah].” Mankind – the nations – are to be judged for their wickedness, their rebellion against the Eternal and His laws. It will be a time of pestilence, famine, war, and economic upheaval. These events are encapsulated by the prophet Ezekiel.
Ezek 7:2 "[THUS] saith the Lord GOD unto the land of Israel …"
[It is most important to understand that when the Eternal gave this message to Ezekiel (circa 590 BC) the Israelites were no longer in their original homeland. They had been taken into captivity in 721 BC by the Assyrians and removed from their land. Though a remnant of Jews still occupied the southern territory of Judea and the message in terms of its primary fulfillment would thus still apply to them, the principal and end time application which is referenced in verse 2, is still largely applicable to the entirety of the Israelite nations in dispersion all over the world at the time of the “day of the Lord” (Yehovah), shortly before the return of Christ.]
To continue the Ezekiel 7 text: "An end, the end is come upon the four corners of the land [by extension, the earth]. 3 Now is the end come upon thee [Judah at that time and later upon all dispersed Israel at the end time], and I will send mine anger upon thee, and will judge thee according to thy ways, and will recompense upon thee all thine abominations. 4 And mine eye shall not spare thee, neither will I have pity [no mercy will be shown!] … 7 the time is come, the day of trouble is near, and not the sounding again of the mountains. 8 Now will I shortly [soon! ] pour out my fury upon thee, and accomplish mine anger upon thee: and I will judge thee according to thy ways, and will recompense thee for all thine abominations.”
To emphasize the absolute reality of His judgement the Eternal repeats:
Ezekiel 7:9 "And mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity: … I am the LORD that smites [The Eternal is in charge of all global affairs and the discipline of nations.] … 12 the time is come, the day draws near …14 … my wrath is upon all the multitude thereof.... 15 The sword [armaments, weaponry] is without [outside the city or country ready to attack], and the pestilence[disease epidemics] and the famine [severe hunger and starvation] within [the city]: he that is in the field shall die with the sword; and he that is in the city, famine and pestilence shall devour him."
There will be NO PLACE TO HIDE! BUT there is some hope…
Ezekiel 7:16 "But they that escape … shall be on the mountains like doves of the valleys, all of them mourning, every one for his iniquity. [they repent of their sins in sorrow.] 17 All hands shall be feeble, and all knees shall be weak as water. 18 They shall also gird themselves with sackcloth, and horror shall cover them; and shame…”
These people are in a state of terrible fear, deep sorrow and repentance. They are the few who are still of salvageable heart and mind. It is this repentant state of mind that serves as the basis for their deliverance when society would have cast away their silver and gold, having forsaken their trust in economic strength. Silver and gold – money, stocks, bonds, cyber currency, art treasures – will become valueless! Only the Eternal will be able to deliver when the economic collapse breaks out upon all nations.
Ezekiel 7:19 "They shall cast their silver in the streets [money will be worthless!] and their gold shall be removed [collapse of the economy!]: their silver and their gold shall not be able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of the LORD: they shall not satisfy their souls [appetite, hunger], neither fill their bowels [stomachs are empty for lack of food!]: because it is the stumbling block of their iniquity..." [Instead of serving the Eternal with their wealth they turned it into their ironically named “securities”, trusting in it to deliver them in times of tribulation, natural disasters, famines, economic fragility and failure. The oligarchs think their wealth can save their pampered skins. Elon Musk hopes he will be on Mars? Their wealth became their staff and stay. Their economic strength is their idol upon which they depended for survival. It will fail them.]
Ezek 7:25 "Destruction cometh; and they shall seek peace, and there shall be none. 26 Mischief [ruin] shall come upon mischief [ruin], and rumor [news report, fake news, conspiracy theories] shall be upon rumor; then shall they seek a vision of the prophet... [They will run to the TBN, God News, Star News “prophets” to comfort them in this historic horror moment. Be certain that just as these religious hucksters do today there will be many false prophets coming to the fore at that time to declare “a word from the Lord”.] "... but [GOD'S] law shall perish from the priest…” [indeed, as it has already perished from the theology of the churchian priests and prophets who despise the law of the Eternal!]
Hos 2:8 "For she [Israel, the people of God] did not know that I gave her corn, and wine, and oil, and multiplied her silver and gold, which they prepared [offered] for Baal [“the Lord”, the false god of churchianity].
Zeph 1:18 gives us a clear word of warning in these pre-catastrophic economic cataclysm period. “Neither their silver nor their gold shall be able to deliver them in the day of Yehovah’s wrath…”
This day of The Eternal’s Wrath is starkly detailed in the end of the age monetary upheaval which will befall the world’s economic and trade infrastructures, and systems of bank fraud and deceit. The SYSTEM is identified as the satanically devised and controlled BABYLON THE GREAT, the great economic and religious world-whore who currently rules and reigns over the global economy -- and religion . Christ speaks of her in the following terms:
Revelation 18:11 "And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buys their merchandise any more: 12 The merchandise of gold, and silver, and precious stones, and of pearls, and fine linen, and purple, and silk, and scarlet, and all your wood, and all manner vessels of ivory, and all manner vessels of most precious wood, and of brass, and iron, and marble, 13 And cinnamon, and odours, and ointments, and frankincense, and wine, and oil, and fine flour, and wheat, and beasts, and sheep, and horses, and chariots, and slaves, and souls of men. 14 And the fruits that thy soul lusted after are departed from thee, and all things which were dainty and goodly are departed from thee, and thou shalt find them no more at all. 15 The merchants of these things, which were made rich by her, shall stand afar off for the fear of her torment, weeping and wailing, 16 And saying, Alas, alas, that great city, that was clothed in fine linen, and purple, and scarlet, and decked with gold, and precious stones, and pearls! 17 For in one hour so great riches is come to nought. And every shipmaster, and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood afar off, 18 And cried when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, What city is like unto this great city! 19 And they cast dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and wailing, saying, Alas, alas, that great city, wherein were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her costliness! for in one hour is she made desolate. 20 Rejoice over her [destruction] thou heaven, and ye holy apostles and prophets; for God hath avenged you on her."
Our only hope and protection is in Yehovah, the Eternal creator, and our soon coming king. Demonstrate your trust in him by your humble submission to his holy laws. He alone is deliverer and Savior. But He does not save or deliver or save the rebellious.
In times of chaos, famine, epidemics, social upheaval, and total economic failure He cannot fail you -- if you commit yourself to Him!
