Trump and Musk’s Martian Mission …Fulfilling a Mosaic Prophecy?

The newly elected President of the United States of America is a man of great vision, imbued with an expansive and expensive mission that has gone beyond making America great again.

Trump wants to virtually “annex” Panama—or maybe just the canal—ostensibly to safeguard the American economy. He also seeks to acquire Greenland for strategic military purposes—and, of course, its rich mineral resources. And, lately, also Gaza.

However, his vision is further inflamed by his multi-billionaire supporter, Elon Musk, who wants to send astronauts to Mars to plant the stars and stripes on that desolate and barren planet associated by the pagan Romans with the mythological god of war.

In principle, Trump and Musk seemingly wish to annex an entire planet—to make America greater than great. Just imagine: History will credit the “colonization” of Mars to America under the dynamic leadership of America’s “greatest president”, Donald J. Trump, and his sidekick, Kalahari kid, and self-made multi-billionaire, Elon Musk!

Trump and Musk are, by all standards, two remarkable men, brought together at the “end of the world’’ to accomplish God’s great and glorious prophetic purposes.

Lest it be thought this might be a right-wing, Trumpian, political commentary let’s unveil the biblical references supporting the above statements:

1.      Dan 4:17  This matter is by the decree [official order] of the watchers [the angelic hosts assigned by God to watch over and intervene in international affairs], and the demand by the word of the holy ones [the Godhead]: to the intent that the living may know that the most High rules in the kingdom of men, and gives it to whomsoever he will, and sets up over it the basest of men. [Contextually this applies to Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon. Historically, this applies to world rulers like Alexander the Great, Hitler, Stalin, Mao, Kim Yong Un, Biden, et al.]

2.      Dan 4:25 That they shall drive you [Nebuchadnezzar] from men, and your dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field … till you know that the most High rules in the kingdom of men, and gives it to whomsoever he will

3.      Dan 4:32 And they shall drive you from men, and your dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field … until you know that the most High rules in the kingdom of men, and gives it to whomsoever he will.

The redundancy is deliberate. God thought the repetition was necessary. We’ll fall in line.

We are not always aware of the spiritual forces, the supernatural powers, that the Almighty set in motion to guide, supervise, and control the affairs of great people and nations. This mystery is clarified in Deuteronomy 32:8:

“When the Most High gave the nations their inheritance…” [yes, the Almighty determines where nations, races, and tribes should live!] “…when he divided up humankind, he set the boundaries of the peoples, according to the number of the heavenly assembly.” [NET]

The last phrase is variously translated as: “… according to the number of the angels of god” [APB]. Or, “… according to the number in his heavenly court.” [NLT]. And again, “…  after the number of the divine beings” [New American Bible].

The Good News Translation renders the text: “The Most High assigned nations their lands; he determined where peoples should live. He assigned to each nation a heavenly being …

The  Contemporary English Version compactly states: “… God Most High gave land to every nation. He assigned a guardian angel to each of them …”

Angelic hosts are set over nations; they are the “watchers” and are actively involved in appointing leaders, kings, and presidents [Daniel 10]. They are deeply involved even in the outcome of “democratic elections”. They will influence the minds of people by circumstances, events, and crises—like assassination attempts; or successful assassinations as with King Ferdinand which caused World War I. Angels and demons are instrumental in achieving God’s prophetic planetary purposes.

Thus, the seemingly fortuitous yet forceful confluence of Trump and Musk at this historic juncture is not accidental. It is a meeting of minds, by design. Musk’s money and Trump’s visionary dynamism converged to literally “make America great again” to restore the nation to some normalcy before Christ’s coming.

There’s a prophecy applying to Christ which in principle could apply to the current condition in the United States of America. It reads:

"After this [decay and destruction of the nation] I will return and will build again the tabernacle of David which has fallen down; and I will build again its ruins, and I will set it up,  so those men who are left might seek after Yehovah, and all the nations on whom My name has been called, says Yehovah, who does all these things"[Acts 15:16-17].

As of this writing, Trump has been in office mere days and the amount of positive, nation-changing, world-impacting work he has accomplished is mind-bogglingly phenomenal. But as with all historic world achievers, he is an instrument in the hands of the Creator who “does all these things” through the forces he assigned over the 70 nations when He predetermined their boundaries and geographic locations. [Refer to Genesis 10.]

As phenomenal as Trump’s achievements may be thus far, the illusory Martian mission may be a hindrance in his visionary path and future achievements.

It borders on an overreaching ambition to assume the prerogative to “seize” an entire planet. God as creator of the planets owns it. No nation, corporate cabal, or single person is divinely entitled to plant its ensign on Mars’ rocky, desiccated, dusty surface to claim it as their own. To do what with, anyway?

Man, having made a mess of earth—wars, disease epidemics, financial chaos, etc.— begs the question: What would man take to Mars other than his existing unregenerate and destructive human nature resulting in sorrowful and dubious deeds? The trillions of dollars spent on such a foolhardy venture can be better spent on meaningful undertakings on earth where man belongs. [See our article: Change the world!]

The concept of going into heaven has come full circle from Babylon of Genesis to Babylon of Revelation!

After the flood the people said, let us “build us … a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name…” [Gen 11:4].

The parallel image of the specially built tower from which to launch a rocket into heaven to reach Mars to “make us a name” is a rather remarkable technological parallel.

Man, through religion, and lately through another form of religion—science and technology—is ever seeking to “go to heaven”.

 Heaven is not man’s destiny!

God did not make man to “go to heaven”—not in this life nor in life hereafter! Churchian evangelicals, denominational dogma, and ecclesiastical creed cannot preach and teach man into the heavens. It is a satanic delusion defying the God-plan for humanity.

Isaiah 45:12 states that God “made the earth and created man upon it!” [Genesis 1 records this creative progression.]

God created earth to suit man. Even though God made billions of other planets, man as a physical entity is designed for Earth. No other planet in the universe is suitable for human life as it exists in its present form.

The latter part of verse 12 declares: “I, even my hands, have stretched out the heavens, and all their host [planets, moons, and stars] have I commanded [put in order].”

Since God made all the planets, and the cosmic array of galaxies, there is not another place in the universe designed for man. It would therefore be a foolish undertaking to attempt the colonization of Mars. No planet other than Earth is intended for man.

The Eternal in his omniscience, prescience, and understanding of the nature of man, predicted precisely this type of meaningless venture 1450 years ago, through Moses.

“If any of you be driven out [or drawn away, being tempted] unto the outmost parts of heaven, from there will Yehovah your God gather you, and from thence will he fetch you [Deut 30:4].

This prophecy intimates the possible disaster of any Martian undertaking. Interplanetary astronauts face the reality of being lost in space. But, the Eternal, being aware of all space and time, will restore and return them to earth where they belong!

The building of the tower of Babel serves as a metaphor for the perpetual passion of man to “go to heaven”. Moses intimated that people would be launched into space attempting to “reach unto heaven”. But all such ventures are vain, ego-driven, and probably more profligate than the insane and irresponsible Biden administration’s wastefulness of human talent and resources.

Deep space and deep state seem philosophically synchronized since Babel. The heavenly march towards Mars will achieve nothing worthwhile.

We pray that President Trump will be further empowered to extend his presidency successfully, helping his nation and, by extension, much of the world. May America’s wealth increase to enable the role players to achieve the greatness and prophetic destiny assigned to them as appointees of the Almighty, to perform “wondrously”.

In anticipation of the legitimate realization of Trumpian ambitions and a revived human hope, it is suggested that the aberrational Muskian Martian mirage be confined to comic books, and fictional fantasies, and left with the serpent who first placed the thought into the imaginative forces of the human mind. As humbling as it may be, we are reminded that the Almighty’s Genesis 2:15 assignment to man is to “dress and keep the garden”—the earth.

To that end we educe the words of Joel 2:25-27:

“And I will restore to you the years which the swarming locust has eaten, the locust larvae, and the stripping locust, and the cutting locust, My great army which I sent among you.  And you shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of Yehovah your God, who has dealt with you wonderfully; and My people shall never be ashamed.  And you shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I am Yehovah your God, and no one else; and My people shall never be ashamed.”

When "the last TRUMP shall sound" the MAN FROM HEAVEN shall come to earth, "the MAN Christ Jesus" [1 Cor 15:52, 1 Thes 4:16, and 1Tim 2:5].

The "last trump" is not Trump, and human salvation is not vested in any man ascending into the heavens but depends upon THE MAN descending from the heavens.

A glorious promise to be realized by Messiah and not mere men!
